Burnout is a complex pattern. It is not simple stress. To get out of it you need to know how you got there. You can be helped by taking a psychological view. You can use a Gestalt perspective to see how burnout comes from an ‘Introject’: in other words, from having absorbed others’ ideas of how you ‘should’ live and work. These shoulds are not you.
